JC Civil has hit the ground running, established in 2021 our team has grown rapidly to keep up with the many projects we have already delivered on.

JC Civil might be the new kid, but behind the scenes we’ve all been dedicated to our workboots for an age, bringing together a tight knit team who are strongly aligned to our whanau values.

John Gisborne and Chris Burns saw a chance to bring together their skills and create a specialized civil company so they founded JC Civil. John has loved “digging dirt and putting in pipe” for over 20 years, couple that with Chris loving building work so much he wears his work shirts on the weekend. They make a mighty team.

We are proud to have a supportive and fun team culture. No two days are the same, so we pull together to find innovative ways to get the job done.
We are a small team, but we are big on delivering massive results.
